Despite what should be my better judgement, I sometimes attempt to write. There's the odd bit of prose, the traditional bad poetry often with added angst and the odd bit of pretension.

Recently I've been playing with some of the traditional Japanese forms. Well as much as you can in a different language. Mainly this is either hokku or sometimes haikai I'm considering renga but I suspect it will elude me. Many of these were originally written for LiveJournal but I liked them and wanted them more easily found.

Fortunately for all concerned I rarely attempt anything more complex, let alone anything with requiring rhyme.

For a few years I also wrote a few bits for a writing project called Perverse which sadly ceased. The various bits I wrote along with the topics and dates I wrote them have now been moved to join the rest of my mutterings here.
