Her eyes had held such passion,
Such fire.
He'd only wanted to share it, just to feel something for a change.
He'd reached out for her, trying to connect, to touch that spark.
Capture the flame in her eyes.
But it had swiftly vanished
leaving only
dull lifeless
incomprehension
gazing back at him...
