MS opened up a call centre in the area (if you consider 20+ mile south of town "in the area") and suddenly I got swamped with calls from tech placement agencies (whom I sent resumes to over a year ago when things started to go sour at another job) asking if I were interested. They were offer $3-4 more per hour than I was making.
I thought about for a fraction of a second and realised two things. First, my hypocrisy only goes so far. Second, a flash of all the times I'd sent some terminally clueless bastard off to MS because he couldn't be bothered to read the manual (or worse, did read it and didn't understand "all that technical shit").
