Cheap Internet for Everyone

Well this is part of the Internet, and maybe you're looking at these pages on a friends machine and wondering how you could get involved with this new and exciting form of communication, or perhaps you're wondering why your friend doesn't get a life. Perhaps you'r4e looking at these pages from a machine at work, in which case does your boss KNOW what you're up to, well do they?? Shouldn't you be working, don't you feel ashamed of yourself stealing company time?? Or perhaps worst of all you're looking at this from a machine of your own, in which case don't you think your money could have been better spent elsewhere??

Well whatever the case may be These pages are here to help you get more from the Internet, and do so cheaply.

The first thing that you may find useful for "surfing the Internet" is a computer. Now many people will tell you that these are expensive and could cost you several hundred pounds. Well to these people I say piffle, stuff and nonsense.
If you are one of these people.....Piffle stuff and nonsense, if you aren't one of these people just ignore this.
Computers can be very, very cheap if you build them yourself, and not from those bits of stuff you buy in shops but from scratch, from the rawest of raw material. Obviously you're not expected to do this unaided so here is a simple step by step guide to building a computer

Finished that little job have you?? Good well next thing you need to do is to "get connected". Again this is simpler and easier than most people would have you think. The easiest way to get good connectivity is to become your own ISP or if you really want to give other people your money why not join up with a state of the art ISP such as String Internet PLC?

Of course you now may be wondering what's out there for you on the net, well here's a few thing's you might find:

News servers
crackpots
Web Pages

If you're feeling a bit confused after all that and really want to understand what's going on and how the Internet works, here's a simple explanation. If that was too jargon laden for you perhaps this might help...but perhaps not
the other large danger of the Internet is that it can take over your life, causing you to join the swelling ranks of the technophile, and we're not talking about music. You must be on constant alert for the tell tale signs that technology is taking over your life.

Had enough? Why not go back a bit it's just as futile.
